"Angels Healthcare at Smith Crossing,

As a participant in the May '09 walk-a-thon at Smith Crossing I would like to thank you for all the encouragement and support I got to keep up my walking and in the end I finished successful by winning the number one spot. I was then surprised when I received a laundry basket full of goodies as a prize. I want to thank you for the generous prize items that come in so handy.

Again, thank you so much and I appreciate your bountiful gifts and I am very grateful. I'm indebted to Angels Healthcare.

Fondly,
Hildegard Witalski"

"I write to express my sincere appreciation for the health services provided by two of your professional staff. Danielle, RN and Clint, P.T. are the two who assisted me to make the transition from the hospital to home. Each provided services which were necessary for my journey toward wellness. Both were considerate of my needs and they fashioned their pace with specific health goals in mind. We all collaborated to achieve these goals. I gained much knowledge about my health status as a result of their support and care. It was a pleasure having Danielle and Clint do post-operational follow-up. I think well of your agency and staff. Again, my thanks."

"Clarice Heckler just left my home after signing me out and I must write and tell you what wonderful work your nurses are doing. Amy O’Donnell cared for me most of the time and she was one of the best also. Always professional, caring, and most of all concerned about me as a person. I am 85 and have had numerous nursing services these last few years and none showed interest in what they were doing; it was just a job. One lady would actually sit and talk about her problems. One day she sat for one hour, needless to say I was very annoyed. Your nurses are sincere in wanting their patients to get well and are willing to listen to the problems that seniors face in daily life. Thanks to Amy and Clarice I feel life is worth living again as their care helped me through difficult days."

"I am writing to you is because I want to commend you and your staff. But especially Cathy Ready; she is my Angel. Cathy has been taking care of me since 2008 and I am very comfortable with her. She is very professional, considerate, patient, caring, compassionate, thoughtful, she is just a wonderful person and I love her dearly. Your company’s name really fits her. I have known of other healthcare nurses and it was a nightmare, so I was very nervous and afraid until I met Cathy and we hit it off from the start. I would really appreciate if you would please give yourself, and staff a big pat on the back for a job well done. And if you would please give Cathy a special pat on the back. She really works hard and she deserves it. If I know of anyone who needs your services I will highly recommend your company. Thank you for your time, and have a nice day. May God bless you and yours."

"I now know why your health care is called Angels At Home. You sent me an Angel. I was ready to give up, when Cathy Ready, my angel, came into my life. She not only took excellent care of my health needs. She helped me get through the hard times. Because of Cathy, I am a cancer survivor.  Cathy never let me give up. When I was down she lifted me up. I hope Angels will give Cathy the recognition she deserves."

"This letter is in reference to Cathy Ready, a nurse with your agency. For the past six months she has been following my patient. He is a complicated patient and she did an outstanding job caring for him. She is bright, caring, and easy to work with."

“Is Laura coming? Is Laura here? Is today Laura’s day?” That’s our mother’s song everyday. Mother has a new friend, Laura Saldana. Laura has been our mother’s nurse since January 2008. Laura’s medical knowledge and expertise, great sense of humor and especially her loving care have given our mother a quality of life this past year that she would never have had; physically, mentally and emotionally. We would have had to enter Hospice long ago if it weren't’t for Laura’s “Palliative Care.” It is just recently that we had to enter Hospice. And it was not an easy decision to make, it meant we would lose Laura. You see, Laura not only made our mother’s world better but she also made our world a better place. God surely did smile on us when Angels At Home HealthCare sent us Laura. We wanted to officially tell you what an exceptional nurse Laura Saldana is and how fortunate you are to have her in your employment. We hope you will recognize her and give her special reward and acknowledgement for her outstanding service."

"I owe you a great big thank you for all that you did for us during the past winter and spring. We are most appreciative when we think of your many kindnesses, your patient help (especially to me when I was under stress), and your boundless energy, generosity with time, innovative suggestions and professional clinical skills. Thank you also for your referral – oasis of calm when we needed it. We would not hesitate to suggest her to any friend in need of her help. My foot is pretty much healed; he gets around (taking it easy) with a special shoe that has the heel cut out and we are hoping that after out next (last) appointment with my doctor, he will starting to put weight on it. He has started physical therapy twice weekly. Being mobile has helped a great deal & our sleeping has improved also. You were truly an “angel at home”."

"Catherine was such an excellent nurse. She was very caring, thorough, and went far beyond expectations. She also has a sparkling personality which is also so wonderful for a sick patient. She is a shining example to the nursing profession."

"Just a few lines to thank your company for the wonderful care I received from Laura Saldana the nurse, and Danny Castigador, the physical therapist. I am doing fine, thanks to Laura and Danny. Keep up the good work."

"I wish to express our gratitude for your excellent professional service that we received from your nurse Sally.  Her warmth and kindness showed us she has a sense for people’s personal challenges."

"Patti was very professional yet had a sense of humor, was compassionate and possessed empathy. I enjoyed her visit. Even though I am a tenured RN with experience with this treatment therapy, Patti went thru the PICC education (thoroughly)."

"We feel blessed to have located an outstanding health care provider, one that we can trust with the care of my mother. We have experienced a few other providers only to be disappointed with the lack of quality of service and compassion for patients.

We would like to send a very special commendation for your health care angel, Amy ODonnell.

We were notified by Amy that she would be taking care of Jane, and informed us that if there was a question or problem that we could call her at any time. She also informed us that if she was not available, there would be someone taking her place.

At one of our visits to sunrise village, we met Amy in person at which time we were totally impressed with the patience, care and understanding that she extends to Jane. It is easy to see that she truly has what it takes to do this job. She has taken some of the worry and fear which we have previously encountered.

Amy has called to tell us when there is a problem, which she rectifies as soon as humanly possible.

Amy is a very special person and we believe that the company should be aware of the outstanding employee, who is compassionate, professional, and the most dedicated that weve ever come across."
